A few words from the CEO
For centuries, explorers and visionary chefs have shaped the art of gastronomy, sharpening our senses, refining our palates, and expanding the horizons of culinary pleasure.
Inspired by this legacy, we embrace a deep passion for cuisine that delights all five senses. Driven by a strong belief in natural and diverse cooking, we advocate for healthy, balanced cuisine where each ingredient takes center stage.
At Véritable®, we love food and we focus on flavour, textures, perfumes. We cherish plants, antioxidants, vitamins and trace elements.
With intensive farming, we stopped eating 80 % of the plant species in the last 50 years, Véritable® works every day to reintroduce a wide variety in our daily lives.
10 YEARS, AND COUNTING...
The project was born from the meeting of a passion with the demands of an epicurean. Nicolas Géhin, an enlightened amateur of home cooking, was growing basil and cherry tomatoes on his balcony. In autumn, the cold and lack of sunlight took their toll on his crops. Driven by a desire to innovate, Nicolas, an electronics engineer, began research into ways of growing crops without constraints, and all year round.
Since 2015, Véritable® has gradually established itself in the kitchen landscape, with more than 150,000 aromatic vegetable gardens installed in private homes. In 10 years, Véritable® has germinated over 63 million seeds! A know-how proudly cultivated in France, just outside Lyon.
On the strength of this unique expertise, Véritable® is now opening up to the professional catering sector, with the same promise of rich flavours, vibrant colors and freshness, as well as generous, gourmet and epicurean innovation!
French manufacturing
At Véritable®, from the outset, we felt it was vital to highlight French expertise and know-how. We are committed to having complete control over every stage in the manufacture and traceability of our products, in order to guarantee their quality and promote short supply chains. Today, we're the only company on the market to offer self-contained indoor vegetable gardens made entirely in France.
In keeping with our values, we have chosen to work closely with a number of French partners. For us, “Made in France” is not just a desire, we put the idea into practice by ensuring that all our industrial production, assembly and logistics activities take place in France.
90% of our subcontractors are located within 200 km of our head office in Sathonay-Camp, just outside Lyon.

INNOVATION, A MAJOR GROWTH DRIVER
Backed by our 4 registered patents, we use and maintain our local know-how and develop our knowledge in a wide range of fields.
By bringing some of our services in-house, we are able to respond quickly. Our expertise in product design and electronic engineering are key skills we draw on to develop our product ranges.
We also design and test our new Lingots® varieties directly in our own R&D laboratory.
SELECTION FROM SEED TO PLATE
To produce our Lingots®, we work with a number of French seed companies, carefully selecting our new seed varieties. The vast majority are organically grown and, of course, GMO-free. Our natural biodegradable refills contain no pesticides. Our Lingots® can be composted or replanted after a first life cycle in our vegetable gardens.

CAREFUL PREPARATION, A GUARANTEE OF QUALITY
Assembly and packaging are carried out directly in our workshops. Our vegetable gardens are also unit-tested, and some of our Lingots® are made in-house. Why do we do this? Quite simply, because at Véritable®, our standards are high, and we want to make sure that the final quality control is carried out in-house, to ensure that your shipment meets your expectations.
ECO-DESIGN AT THE HEART OF OUR CONCERNS
We have set ourselves the target of reducing our production of non-recyclable waste to zero. We implement measures and practices to minimize the waste generated by our activities. This includes seeking alternative solutions, optimizing production processes and using recyclable materials for our products. Our commitment to environmental sustainability guides our efforts to achieve this ambitious goal.

Optimized storage
Our warehouse has extensive storage capacity for up to 800 pallets. This enables us to efficiently manage the flow of goods and guarantee organized, accessible storage.
We provide daily logistics departures for parcel and pallet dispatch, both nationally in France and internationally. Thanks to our reliable transport network and strategic partnerships, we are able to respond rapidly to our customers' shipping needs, ensuring that their goods are delivered on time, wherever they are.
State-of-the-art logistics
For accurate and efficient item management, we use a barcode system. Each item is assigned a unique code, which is scanned at every stage of the logistics process, from receipt to dispatch. This enables us to accurately track and control item movements, optimize inventory management and minimize errors.
Industrial seeding line
Our facility includes an industrial seeding line located in a gray room, which enables us to maintain a controlled environment that complies with phytosanitary standards.
What's more, our staff are specifically trained and sensitized to phytosanitary issues, ensuring proper crop treatment.
Engineering office
We put our know-how at the service of our customers to help them realize their most ambitious projects. Thanks to our solid experience and personalized approach, we are able to deliver innovative technical solutions, on time and on budget.
French expertise and know-how
With its rich and dynamic economic fabric, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in which our company is located, is a real breeding ground for skills on which we can draw. In fact, thanks to this diversity of players, 90% of our subcontractors are located within 200 km of our head office in Sathonay-Camp, just outside Lyon.
Véritable® offers self-sufficient gardens for professionals. They work with ready-to-use refills of edible and decorative plants.
They enable interior designers and landscapers to plant indoor and outdoor spaces with minimal maintenance.
Catering professionals can effortlessly grow herbs, edible flowers and rare flavours all year round.
