How do you cook garden cress?

Garden cress is delicious in salads. The tender young leaves add a slightly spicy, peppery flavor. Mix with other vegetables, fruits, nuts and dressings to create fresh, nutritious salads.

Garden cress can be added to soups for a vibrant flavor. Add it at the end of cooking to retain its crunchy texture and bright color.

Our tips for successfully growing your garden cress

It's best to harvest the leaves when the cress is young and tender.

You can cut cress leaves at the base of the plant with scissors or a sharp knife. Cut off the stems and outer leaves, leaving the young leaves inside to allow for new growth.
